It’s hard to try to summarize everything I experienced in India, but I’d have to say that II Corinthians 12:9 says it best: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” This is what stands out to me when I think about our trip to India. As many of you might know, after only a few days in India our group started to get miserably sick, myself included. I’m not going to go into detail, but lets just say it was no fun for anyone in our group. Although it wasn’t the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had, I’m glad it happened. Through our physical weakness, I saw God’s grace and power move in our lives. I saw how He was able to use each of us despite the fact that we were still sick and had little energy. He gave us the strength and energy we needed as each one of us stood in front of crowds of people and proclaimed His name, whether through a word or through worship. Through our weakness, I saw the power of God move and I saw Him touch the hearts of a young generation. It was truly amazing!!
